In My Mailbox

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme sponsored by The Story Siren

This week I promised myself that I would not purchase any books, yet somehow I ended up spending an hour in Barnes and Noble. Here is what I bought:

The Listener by Shira Nayman
Another Faust by Daniel and Dina Nayeri
The Ever Breath by Julianna Baggott
The Brooklyn Nine by Alan Gratz
Mr. Shivers by Robert Jackson Bennett
Dream House by Valerie Laken
Green Witch by Alice Hoffman
The Egypt Game by Zilpha Keattey Snyder
The Sixty-Eight Rooms by Marianne Malone
The Glass of Time by Michael Cox
Truly, Madly by Heather Webber
Toby Alone by Timothee de Fombelle
Because I Am Furniture by Thalia Chaltas

What did you receive in your mailbox this week?

  1. The Egypt Game was one of my favorite books as a kid. I had to read it for school but I really enjoyed it because I was into Ancient Egypt. I really liked Truly, Madly and I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I haven't read any of the other books but I have heard a lot of good things about Because I am Furniture and the Octavian Nothing books. I hope you will enjoy all your new books. Barnes and Noble is a dangerous place to go when we don't want to spend money. I can't go there without buying something!

  2. Book stores, they're all traps. I have to pass one on my way home, kind of, it's so hard to avoid it. It's like it telling me just to stop and take a look. Then, next thing you know, you're stuffing bags full of books in your car and little kids are pointing at you in the parking lot.
Great books, hope you enjoy them!

  4. LMAO, just an hour? That's is nothing. Trust me on this. Especially where Starbucks is usually provided. I could spen ALL day there, books stores are like Catnip for me. Enjoy your books. Here's Mine.
